The Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Office of the Chief Agriculture Officer, District Budgam has invited applications on the prescribed format for the engagement of 8 Krishi Udyamis (KUs) / Agricultural Entrepreneurs in various vacant pre-identified Panchayat Level Kisan Khidmat Ghars in District Budgam under HADP Phase II. Budgam Krishi Udyami Qualification

*Diploma courses: Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary Sciences, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture, Agri. Engineering, BHT, BAT from government recognized institution.

**Agri Allied courses: BSc in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Sericulture; B. Tech in Agriculture Engineering, BVSc & AH from a Government recognized institution.

***Diploma/Certification course in computers of 3 or more months duration from a government recognised institution.

Budgam Krishi Udyami Age Limit

Age should be between 21 and 45 years as of the last date of submission.

Budgam Krishi Udyami Salary

Selected KUs must enter into an agreement with the APD and deposit a refundable security amount of Rs 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand) in the form of Fixed Deposit Receipt from any scheduled commercial bank.

The selection of KUs will be based entirely on a point-based system (100 Marks total) as detailed below:

Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo document verification. The highest-scoring candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be considered for the position.

How to Apply for Budgam Krishi Udyami

1. Download the application form and detailed information from the official website of District Budgam (budgam.nic.in) or obtain it from the office of CAO Budgam.
2. Fill out the application form with required personal and educational details.
3. Affix a latest passport size photograph with white background on the application form.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of Date of birth certificate (Matriculation certificate), Marks certificate of all qualifying examinations, Domicile Certificate, and Character certificate issued by the competent authority.
5. Attach an affidavit attested by a Ist Class Magistrate stating that the candidate will make available secure space comprising of two rooms / shops (approximately 750 to 800 Sq. Ft.) at a feasibly located within the concerned Panchayat on his/her own for which no rent shall be claimed.
6. Submit the completed application forms in person or through registered post to the office of the Deputy Commissioner Budgam on or before 14-10-2026 (upto 4:30 PM).

Budgam Krishi Udyami Important Instructions

• The engagement is initially for a period of 2 years, with the possibility of annual extensions subject to satisfactory performance.
• Selected KUs must deposit a refundable security amount of Rs 10,000 as a Fixed Deposit Receipt.
• KUs are not entitled to claim any regular appointment under the Scheme at any point of time.
• Kus will work on a franchise-franchisee basis operating Kisan Khidmat Ghars at the panchayat level.
• In case of exit before two years, the security amount of INR 10,000 will be forfeited.
• Candidates must submit an affidavit regarding space availability for which no rent shall be claimed.
• Original documents shall have to be presented during the verification process.
