IIT Madras has released the GATE 2027 syllabus for all 30 test papers on the official website. Every paper has its own syllabus PDF. GATE 2027 is a 3-hour computer-based test of 100 marks with 65 questions, made up of MCQ, MSQ and NAT questions.

- Find your branch or paper code in the list of test papers.

Q1. What is the GATE 2027 syllabus?
The GATE 2027 syllabus lists the topics from which questions will be asked in each of the 30 papers. Every paper has a separate syllabus, and General Aptitude is common to all of them.

Yes. IIT Madras added a new paper, Robotics & Automation (RA), and changed the Biotechnology (BT) syllabus. Textile Engineering & Fibre Science has changed under Engineering Sciences, and the codes of XE, XH and XL have been updated.
