HURL released Advertisement No. E/04/2026 on 5 August 2026, inviting online applications for 78 posts across Executive Cadre, Fixed Term Contract (FTC) and Non-Executive Cadre, to support its Ammonia-Urea fertilizer complexes at Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Sindri (Jharkhand) and Barauni (Bihar). Online registration opened the same day.

HURL Selection Process

• Executive Cadre: Depending on the number of applications, HURL may conduct interviews, screening tests, written tests, trade tests or skill tests as deemed fit, and may revise eligibility criteria or restrict the number of candidates called for a post based on academic marks, years of experience, or additional qualifications.
• FTC Basis (Medical): Selection follows the same discretionary process as Executive Cadre posts, based on qualification and post-qualification experience in a medical institute/industrial establishment.
• Non-Executive Cadre: Selection is through Trade/Skill/Written Test or any other suitable mode determined by HURL.
• Only shortlisted candidates found apparently eligible, based on the notified specifications and their application declaration, will be called for the Written Test/Group Discussion/Interview.
• Appointment of selected candidates is subject to being found medically fit as per HURL Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post.
• Regular Executive and Non-Executive appointees are placed on probation for 1 year, extendable if performance ratings are not satisfactory.

How to Apply for HURL Recruitment 2026

1. Visit https://www.hurl.net.in/careers/ and register as a new candidate before applying.
2. Keep scanned copies ready in advance: passport-size photograph and signature (JPG/JPEG, max 1 MB each); all essential educational passing certificates and mark sheets; and post-qualification experience certificates clearly showing joining/relieving dates (offer/appointment letter, experience certificate, last 3 months’ payslip, joining/relieving order – max 500 KB each).
3. Fill in accurate personal, qualification, and experience details; ensure CGPA/OGPA/percentage conversion is entered as per your university’s norms, with documentary proof ready for verification.
4. Submit CTC details/salary slips as required – applications without this will be summarily rejected.
5. Review all details carefully before final submission – no modification is allowed after submission.
6. Submit only one application per position; apply separately if interested in more than one post.

Documents Required

• Passport-size photograph and signature (scanned, JPG/JPEG, max 1 MB)
• All passing certificates and mark sheets for essential and additional educational qualifications
• Equivalence certificate for qualifications acquired from foreign universities/institutes, if applicable
• Letter from the institute/university confirming specialisation in the Post-Graduate degree, if not mentioned on the marksheet/degree
• All post-qualification experience certificates (offer/appointment letter, experience certificate, last 3 months’ pay slip, joining/relieving order)
• CTC details/salary slips
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer/Head of Department, for candidates working in PSUs/Government organisations (or a notarised affidavit confirming no pending vigilance/disciplinary case, if NOC cannot be produced)

Important Conditions

• All qualifications must be from an Indian university/institute recognised by UGC/AICTE or the appropriate statutory authority; qualifications through distance learning mode are not eligible.
• Qualifying degree/diploma must be full-time and regular.
• Work experience must be relevant executive/in-line experience acquired after the qualifying degree; teaching/lectureship, part-time jobs, apprenticeship, internship, articleship and freelance work will not be counted. For E2 and above, only executive experience is considered.
• Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
• HURL reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards, restrict the number of applications called for a post, or cancel/restrict/enhance vacancies at its discretion, without assigning any reason.
• Selected candidates may be posted to any HURL location/site and may be transferred to any department as per company requirement.
• Candidates found guilty of canvassing at any stage of the selection process will be disqualified.
• Internal HURL employees must complete at least 2 years in the immediate next-below position as on the cut-off date, and must take prior permission before applying online.
• Any dispute regarding this recruitment will be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi only.
