BHEL FTA Supervisor Vacancy Details 2026

The engagement is for an initial period of two years or till completion of the assignment, whichever is earlier. These posts are purely temporary and on a Fixed Tenure basis, not against any permanent vacancy.

Category-wise Reservation

BHEL FTA Supervisor Qualification

Essential: A full-time Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology from a recognized Indian University/Board, with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate for UR/EWS/OBC/PwD/ST candidates, and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for SC candidates.

Desirable: A full-time (1-year) diploma in Industrial Safety, preferably from RLI/CLI.

BHEL FTA Supervisor Experience Requirement

Essential: After completion of the post-engineering-diploma, 2 years’ experience in the field of safety (HSE) at construction sites. Post-diploma experience must be exclusive of any Trainee/Apprenticeship period.

Desirable: Experience in a switchyard, power plant, or refinery will be given preference. Experience of building or other construction work in a supervisory capacity for 5 years, including 2 years of relevant experience at construction sites, will also be given preference. Candidates should have experience conducting mock drills, audits, inspections, and indoor/outdoor training on HSE topics, along with basic computer knowledge (MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification and experience as on 01.08.2026.

BHEL FTA Supervisor Age Limit

Age relaxation applicable as follows:

• 5 years for SC candidates.
• PwD candidates: 10 years for UR, 15 years for SC.
• 5 years for candidates ordinarily domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01.01.1980 and 31.12.1989.

BHEL FTA Supervisor Application Fee

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 236/- is payable by UR, ST, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates. SC, PwD, and Ex-servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the processing fee.

Only online payment is accepted; the UTR number/Transaction ID must be entered in the application form. Demand Draft, Money Order, Postal Order, and Cheque are not acceptable modes of payment.

BHEL FTA Supervisor Selection Process

All applications are screened against the prescribed job specification, and eligible candidates are called for a Personal Interview. If the number of eligible applications exceeds the vacancy ratio, candidates will be shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:10 in order of merit within each category, based on the total percentage secured in the relevant Diploma in Engineering. If the number of applicants is less than the 1:10 ratio, all eligible candidates will be called for interview.

Where CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or a letter grade is awarded, the equivalent percentage must be indicated in the application as per the norms of the University/Institute, along with proof of the conversion norm.

3. Print the acknowledgement slip after submission, sign it, and affix a recent photograph.
4. Send the signed acknowledgement slip along with self-attested documents and the fee payment receipt (where applicable) to:
   Sr DGM/HR, BHEL-TBG, Floor 5, BHEL Sadan, Sector 16A, Noida – 201301.
5. Superscribe the envelope as “Application for Appointment as FTA Gr III (Supervisor) – FTA_TBG_001_HSE”.
6. Ensure the envelope reaches BHEL by the applicable deadline (14.09.2026, or 21.09.2026 for far-flung areas). BHEL is not responsible for postal loss or delay.

• Recent passport-size colour photograph (white background) – mandatory.
• Signature in blue/black ink – mandatory.
• Date of Birth proof (Matric/Birth Certificate) – mandatory.
• Qualification certificates and mark sheets of all years/semesters of the Diploma (and any additional qualification), with CGPA conversion proof if applicable – mandatory.
• Work experience certificate(s) on company letterhead with employer contact details, or current employment proof (ID card/offer letter with last 3 months’ pay slips) – mandatory.
• No-Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer, for candidates in Govt./PSU service – if applicable.
• EWS certificate in the prescribed Government of India format – if applicable.
