Common Eligibility Points
- A medical qualification included in Schedule I & II or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 is required for all medical posts (candidates with Part-II qualifications must also satisfy Section 13(3) conditions).
- Only experience acquired after obtaining the essential qualifying degree for the applied post is counted.
- DNB Equivalence: Candidates holding DNB (broad specialty) or DrNB (super-specialty) as their essential qualification must provide documentary evidence of equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch as per MCI/NMC notification dated 31.10.2018, along with proof that training was done in an institution with an attached hospital (or 500+ bed hospital recognized by NBE), or one year of senior residency in an NMC-recognized teaching institution after passing DNB/DrNB.
- SC/ST candidates may be granted relaxation of up to 1 year in the required experience, at the discretion of the competent authority.

There is no written examination. Selection is through bio-data-based shortlisting followed by a Personal Interview at AIIMS Jodhpur.
- Merely possessing the prescribed minimum qualification does not entitle a candidate to selection; the Selection Committee shortlists candidates for interview based on bio-data.
- Shortlisted candidates must produce all original documents at the time of interview.
- Interviews will be held at AIIMS Jodhpur; no TA/DA is paid for appearing.
